Our Team

Luke is a Bay Area native. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric in 2006 from San Francisco State University focusing on feminism, sexuality and gender studies. At Common Knowledge Luke has worked with Defenders of Wildlife, International Fund for Animal Welfare, Sierra Club and EQCA. While in college he spent four and a half years as a member of the policy debate team and was nominated to the Academic All-American Debate Squad by the Cross Examination Debate Association in 2006. He frequently uses these debate skills around the office.

Before coming to Common Knowledge in 2006, Luke volunteered for the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition. He is fascinated by nonprofit organizations, especially those in health and human services. In his spare time, Luke daydreams of being a billionaire philanthropist.
